Has anyone had a PPI upheld? If so, I know it says the cheque will be paid within four weeks but how long did yours actually take to be paid into your bank?

:eek: The letter said four weeks, so why did it take 12? They took to the last possible day of the 8 weeks before they sent the "upheld" letter. I was hoping they didn't draw the paying for the full 4 weeks mentioned.

A forlorn hope, I'm afraid.

It's far more likely to be more than four weeks than less.

At least your complaint has been upheld, if you had to refer to the Ombudsman the process is tasking in excess of eighteen months.

Had an old 2011 claim upheld totally out of the blue after being originally refused . Received the offer on 28th March and the cheque this morning - all £17,000 + of it , so it was just short of 4 weeks.
