It was hard enough to reach £6 when they altered the referral link last time
(they changed it to "referral person must earn £6 before you get £1 referral commission")

It's gone rapidly downhill since they did this

Viewsbank - Hi xxx,
It was still working we just hadn't publicised it for a while and began to phase it out. Unfortunately it was being abused by many members.
But we need it to go so we can work out how to make it more beneficial for both members and us in the future.
We thought that alerting people that it was being removed would have spurned on more people to abuse briefly before it was gone.

Funny how someone called Rob gave a different reply:

It started to get abused by members setting up fake accounts etc and it was costing us more than it brought to the site.

So as of a few months ago, the link should have just gone to the site. We had sent an email out to all members alerting them of this which I can send to you again, if you need me to.

FROM VIEWSBANK - Due to increasing administrations costs, we have had to raise our payment threshold from £6.00 to £12.00.
This new threshold will be in place for the next scheduled payment on Tuesday the 9th June 2015.
The decision to raise the threshold was not taken lightly and it is still one of the lowest thresholds in the industry. And we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for their continued understanding and loyalty.

Haven't noticed the increase up until today! Just as I was getting close to £6.00 !
