Because the only reason they freeze accounts and take money is when there is a dispute or a problem with a transaction. If you read the small print, this is what you agree to when you sign up. It seems a shame to rule out the many survey sites that pay with Paypal because you had an issue, once. The majority of people use Paypal every day without any problems because they follow the rules. You could give it another go, if they will let you and see what happens.

Aw another paypal only pay option
I refuse to get a paypal account.
I had one once and they locked my account stole £50 from me and tried to take me to court for $2000!
    It was a nightmare!
Why is this happening more and more and why cant they give you a choice say bacs or paypal
Is there a list of survey companies that dont make you have a paypal account???
    Tanya

I have had a problem like that with Paypal before, about 4 or 5 years ago now, when someone scammed me out of vouchers that I e-mailed over and eBay then refunded them the money via Paypal. I gave it another go and since then I've had a TON of money received with no problems. Not everyone having their account frozen has done something wrong!!

I like Viewsbank, they are also a friendly lot and answer any queries quickly. As people have said, the surveys don't pay a lot but they are quick and the payout threshold is low. I have received a couple of Mystery Shops where I didn't have to do anything and received £5 each time!

The account was intercepted by someone and £2000 was debited!
I had £50 of my own in the account
They locked the account and refused to give me my money back and threatened to take me to court.
    I did nothing wrong!
Just google Paypal and you will see how many people have had problems with them!
I had to close my bank account and change banks to get rid of them!
    So er no never again!!!!

That's interesting because I signed up a few days ago but got cold feet when they sent the activation email. The email was marked with a warning (by hotmail). Something about the sender of this email being marked up by hotmail's fraud prevention. I panicked and cancelled my account but wasn't sure if I was just being paranoid.

Ahhh! I mis-read Tanya2014's post! Sorry for any confusion.

I've had no problems with paypal. The fraud prevention note I received related to the email from Viewsbank. That's why I panicked and cancelled my newly set-up account with Viewsbank.

Has anyone else had anything warnings like this for Viewsbank? The warning was from hotmail.

    Email received today from Viewsbank.

There is no easy way to say this so I'll get straight to it:

Last month, we were attacked by scammers. So to ensure we're only paying out the people that have been completing assignments for us honestly, we are running some checks on all of those that qualify for payment tomorrow.
We started these checks on Friday when we realised something was wrong and it's going to take us a few more days to complete them while also, picking winners, writing blogs and scripting more surveys to put live for you.

So we apologise for the delay and all we ask that you please bear with us. We are aiming to pay you by Tuesday the 16th but if we can, we will endeavour to pay you sooner. But the delay will be a week at the very most.

Apologies again but a minority are ruining it for the rest of you. And we are also upset that we can't give our honest members their hard earned cash at the usual time.

They have gone downhill, quite quickly

First changing referral scheme, then becoming more of a forum, now this.

Fingers crossed that everyone does get what they are owed

Is anyone having problems logging into Viewsbank? I've been away for a couple of months.
