Hi no matter what anyone thinks, the directors were contracted to pay us back with interest.
basically the directors withdrew all of the companies money to their personal bank accounts and resigned before the law came in place.
smith and Williamson the administration company seem to be getting nowhere with sueing the directors and I've been tipped off that they (ex directors) have around 20 million pounds each.
is anyone interested in teaming up with me, I will need at least 50 people to be able to pay a law firm as HMRC don't seem to mind them getting away with things so up to us to take action.
perhaps we can set up a facebook page etc0 -

Perhaps you shouldn't have been so stupid in the first place. You may as well have given your money to a Nigerian lottery winner.0 -
Harsh, but probably fairly accurate.Bluebirdman_of_Alcathays wrote: »Perhaps you shouldn't have been so stupid in the first place. You may as well have given your money to a Nigerian lottery winner.0 -
I do enjoy it when someone resurrects this thread.
It makes me laugh.

you need to take risks in life to be successful like me,0

Very often these schemes were set up with an opinion from a barrister (often a QC) made available to prospective members essentially saying that the scheme is probably legal. A professional negligence action against that barrister may be an option.0

So successful that you're thinking of throwing good money after bad in a legal action to avoid paying the tax that you always knew, deep down in your heart of hearts, really was due.saujohn1234 wrote: »you need to take risks in life to be successful like me,0 -
apparently the law got backdated by 1 year and I literally completed a few days after , so theoretically yes people who completed a month before me would of got away with it0

We have recently heard from a Company/ Law Firm regarding the possibility of joining a group action and pursuing BH Tax who advised on the ITS Schemes. Sounds like they have a possible route to try and get us some money back. Has anyone else been contacted? If so, what are your thoughts? Done some research and it all looks legit but thought I would get some feedback on this forum before I signed up. Their website is ITS Action Group.0

I wonder if they want £50, or £500, upfront, to investigate your case?
Frankly, I'd suggest it'd be money well spent... NOT!!!!.....
