Total on credit card wrong?!

I always keep a note of my credit card spends and check against my statement. This month there was a difference of 99p, not a lot I know but I checked and rechecked my figures and couldn't see where I'd made a mistake. Then I actually worked from the figures on the statement, went from last balance, added purchases, took away repayments and there was a difference of 99p at the end - what's going on here? According to them my statement balance is £576.29 using their printed figures I make it 575.30. There must be an explanation, what am I missing?

How should we know without sight of your statement and all your CC receipts?

Have you checked each line on the statement against the relevant CC receipt? And then reconciled payment amounts between your bank statement and the CC statement? This will show where any discrepancy is.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Everything is itemised on your statement.

What is on the statement that is not included in your notes?

Do you agree with what is on your statement?

If so. you need to update your notes accordingly and recalculate
If not, have you called the card provider to dispute the transaction? What have they said?

Could be an amount that is reserved but not taken for something like pay at pump petrol

They authorise a nominal amount when you start (to prove the card is valid), then charge the full amount at the end. The nominal sum is never actually collected and will disappear in a few days.

Same with iTunes purchases. Might you have bought a music track and forgotten to make a note of it? (I've done that a couple of times!)
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Surely Statements don't include "reserved" amounts? (Available balance figures may reflect them but not statements.)

You've not had a refund or over paid in a previous month have you?

All my receipts match the statement exactly, what I am basically saying is the calculation on the printed statement is wrong, but I also know this can't be right, how can I let you see my statement, copy and paste here?

Yes, that's what I'm saying, because I couldn't find a mistake I used my calculator and worked with the printed statement and I don't agree with their total, and I've not got any outstanding amount of 99p, if I have it would be on my next statement, it says at the top further transactions will be on the next statement.
