There is only One plant that is refered to as Russian Vine its latin name is Fallopia baldschuanica. ...... I think this is one plant that should be on an EU ban list, its only redeeming feature is it is attractive to bees.

It has others. Many years ago now, the neighbour's wall fell down, much of it landing in our garden. The neighbour seemed to be in no hurry to repair or remove it, so after a suitable period had elapsed, my Dad planted a Russian Vine along the chicken wire fence he'd temporarily erected.

Not much happened that first year, but in the second, when the thing really got into its stride the neighbor became suddenly motivated to sort out his wall! ;)

what is the Latin Name of the slow growing evergreen russian vine please. As I own a garden centre, never heard of it and I'm sure my customers would be interested.
