Hi I've decided to sell my MacBook Pro to cex and I m not sure whether to take the money or have a credit note which is worth £90 more. I do want a replacement laptop but nothing too fancy. I've seen a Lenovo 13 inch one there 2 gb for £190 but not sure. I d also like to buy a nexus 7 2013 but they haven t any there at the moment.
Any one offer a suggestion as to whether this Lenovo one is ok and it's windows 7 which I'm used to. Or does anyone know of a good deal anywhere please .

The price of goods in CEX are probably much higher than you can get elsewhere for the same item. I guess it depends on whether the additional value of credit note outweighs their higher prices.
Why not sell it on eBay or similar?0 -

To be honest I can t be bothered. My daughter paid over £1,000 for it including apple 2 yr cover, she didn t want it after a while so I bought it off her for £500. So it's her whose losing the most not me.0 -
If you want something from CEX then the credit is the better deal, if not take the cash.0

You can use vouchers online if your local store hasn't any stock.
You make an order using credit card, then send your voucher off and they refund your card. Just done it myself recently.
If you explain in store what you are doing, they might split your credit vouchers so you only need to send one off for the right value.0
