Hi need urgent advice please my wife received by post a fine for parking in a B&M Carpark from G24 (she spent £180 with them that day!) she contacted them and they said it should be waived, we now hav a letter from DRP ltd asking for £150! Parking charge date was 05/10/13 what do we do? She actually couldn't physically get off the said carpark that day due to traffic problems too!

Ask a forum helper to move this to the parking tickets section
Read this thread that has a walk through process of how to deal with these

Hi I followed the advise laid down in the sticky and sent the formatted letter stating i wasn't the driver gave my wifes details and stated in letter:
"Please note: this discharges my obligation as Registered Keeper under PoFA 2012 and any court proceedings will be defended on that basis."
Just received a letter from G24 now saying my period of appeal has expired and that i have a number of options to 'choose' i.e. court action or pay. What can i do now?0 -
If it isn't an impertinent question, how come it's not been dealt with between October and now?
G24, the parking management company, have passed it on to DRP - presumably, a debt recovery company - after approximately six months. Hardly unreasonable, in the absence of any other communication.
You say that B&M said it "should be waived". Did you send a copy of that to G24? Did you have any further communication with G24 between then and now? Or did you assume that B&M would do the actual waiving?0
