I take it you're aware of this prior to booking? If so I can't see the issue, you agree to the T&Cs prior to ordering. One could argue this is an unfair term but that's something entirely different.0

has the show been cancelled0

What they may mean is if *you* cancel there's no right to refund0

The " no show" refers to you not turning up?0

No , when queried on this , if the show/concert/panto is cancelled there is no refunds made ):
Would this come under the SoG act or is nthis a "service"
It is made clear that this is in the T&C but just seems wrong !A Bast**d I May Be ! I Was Born One !

The person who told you this doesn't know what they are talking about?
Do you have a link to the t & cs0 -
When you can get a refund on tickets
If the event you have booked is cancelled, rescheduled or has changed location, you are entitled to a refund of at least the face value of the ticket. If the face value has been reduced by the organiser, the refund will be for the discounted face value price paid.
If an event is rescheduled to another date, your tickets should be valid. If you can't make the rescheduled date, then you're entitled to a full refund.
The ticket seller is responsible for giving you your refund for tickets to a cancelled event.
It is a condition of membership of the industry's self-regulatory body, the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR), that ticket sellers refund the ticket's face value price, when an event is cancelled.
