I have done quite a lot of research and had many quotes. Green Energy Nationwide were by far the best price for the system I choose and specified. What I am interested in is a past customer review prior to placing an order.0 -
Ignore most of this. Wrong company. Green energy nationwide are green energy nw ltd not green energy nationwide plc (which look dubious).
I've deleted the incorrect info.
I also got a quote from what sounded like another company but turned out to be a portal for this.0 -
You may be better posting your rough location and seeing if anyone on here can give you a recommendation if you're a little wary as to the history of the company2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0

Hi,
Green Energy NW installed our 4kw system last October. We have had no problems with them. We live in Lancashire quite close to their head office. Cost for full installation £5200.0 -
I have now had my Solar Panel Installed by GreenEnery NW. The price was the best by far from any of their competitors. It cost me £6700 - 12 x Sunpower E20 panels with a Samil 4000TL Wifi Inverter.
I had my concerns as I had to pay 50% upfront a week before the installation but was allowed to pay with my Credit Card for security ( also had 1.5%Cashback with the card). After I paid the deposit I received Insurance Cover for the deposit from GreenEnergy which was backed by Financial Services Authority, that I didn't expect !
Superb job and I would highly recommend them to all0 -
The company info I posted earlier was for green energy nationwide plc. This company is green energy nw ltd trading as green energy nationwide. I think the two are unrelated although are in the same county.
Ignore my earlier post.
I went with Evoenrgy, a few hundred more expensive but I felt more comfortable with them. Fine install within a week but no reason to think green energy nationwide would be any different.0 -
Just found out today that Green Energy Nationwide ( NW) have done a runner from their Burscough address. They were supposed to remove and replace my panels whilst I had a new roof. Of course they didn't turn up so I had to get an emergency electrician out at the last minute. Their phone numbers work but I contacted the unit next door and they told they were owed £6k in rent and had done a runner....anyone else know anything?0

Wow. I am meant to be giving them 50% today. They kept asking for a bank transfer and I insisted on credit card.
They were meant to phone yesterday for credit card details but did not and when I chased they apologised and said they that they had cc difficulties over Easter. A sudden change of address would certainly not be popular with the cc company !
The deal seems good and the surveyor excellent. He turned out to be the actual installer which is a good way of doing it ..0
