Desperate for advice about Tax Credit

Sorry for this being long ... I have 4 children and back in December my older two ( 13 & 12 ) decided to go live with their dad ( 9th Dec ) he then kicked them out on 31st Dec and now back with me, since being back with me I had too tell child benefit why I didn't think he was entitled to the 3wks money (maintenance arrears of nearly £9000.00 ), they then decided he wasn't entitled to it and awarded it too me and continue to pay me child benefit for them aswell as my other two. I then had to fill in a form for tax credits stating the 2 older children live with me (which they didn't receive) on the 27th February they cut my money in half saying I only have my two younger children, I have sent off appeal form along with the letter I got from child benefit and a letter from CSA stating my ex is paying child maintenance of £5 a week as his claiming benefits. Tax credits have still not made a desicion and still continue to pay for only two children. Surely as I'm getting child benefit for all four children that alone tells tax credits I do have my children living with me?? Does anybody know if they will back pay me for my other two from 27th February?? Really don't know what other evidence I can send them too prove that I have four children not two :-(

WTC/AP Form, I downloaded it from Tax Credit website, i put down I have been the main carer since their birth and the dates they stayed with their dad.

Oh sorry lol, the form was asking who they lived with, who gets child benefit, who buys their clothes, food ect and who should get the tax credits for them.

Yeah they told me they have until August :-( ... Ok thank you for your help :-)
