I haven't joined in with these challenges for the last couple of months, didn't even log into MSE during April it turns out. However I'm back this month and want to have a great money making May so please put me down for £10 a day.

Currently on the list for this month - is a big pile of clothes to sell on facebook, a car boot sale with a friend, some bits to ebay, hoping for another £10 or so on sbs and then maybe some road kill and whatever else turns up.

    Lets get this started!
    Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
    Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
    Overpayments to date - £79.62
Current Mortgage free date - January 2058

Skidding in at speed, late but here - put me down for £5 a day again, please :)

Kicking off with £4.78 from Ebay and £2.19 from the A$da Price Guarantee - £6.97 so far.

I think most of my better stuff has been sold now and so I'm not expecting much more from eBay. I did manage to build a website to stick everything else on during April despite things being pretty chaotic round here, and am still putting the odd thing up there too. It's nothing special, sort of a yard sale by the side of the 'information superhighway', and mostly sells the kind of stuff that people would eventually buy on eBay if only you had the time and energy to relist it two hundred times. Needless to say, I'm not expecting an avalanche of sales from it and so have stuck Adsense on there as well in the hope of making a few bob from that each month. Every little helps.

I've had that in mind for a while now and am glad I've got it done out of the way because it means I can concentrate on my Big Idea, which I've already made a start on. I have a lot of unfinished software projects on my hard drive because although I enjoy coding as a hobby, I have a bit of a butterfly brain and have a tendency to abandon stuff whenever I think of something new, even if it's nearing completion. Quite a few of these unfinished programs share a common theme, and I have rounded them up and made it a priority to finish them. In order to motivate me, I have even bought the domain that I eventually intend to sell them from. Unfortunately, even though much of the coding is done, they are the kind of thing that needs tons of ordinary 'writing' too (not to mention graphics), and with my notoriously slow typing speed I expect to renew my domain name several times over before I ever have anything to put on there :)

I was too busy to post much in April but I did try to keep up with the reading and know that an awful lot was achieved by everyone, particularly Mavvy with her mortgage freedom. Well done to all - here's hoping each of us sees a profitable May :)

Starting off the month with £6.90 Tesco Price promise coupon. I was impressed as I usually only get them for a few pence
