Another £4 of 'housekill' (this time small change I found in various pots), and £6 from a refund, bought something on Amazon that doesn't work properly so asked for my money back. Since I get to keep the item (and can still use bits of it) I'm counting that.

Just wanted to say a big thank you :)

I joined Qustodian because of this thread and I have just been emailed to say I won a prize :D

    "Hi Shawn,

Just wanted to drop you a line to congratulate you on being drawn today as the winner of the Google Chromecast in our recent Qustodian Invitations Competition.

Please could you confirm the address that we should use to send you the Chromecast and we will get it in post to you.

Congratulations again for winning and thanks for taking part."

    1. Yay. I read the announcement and for a moment doubted 'Shawn' was real. Well that shows me.

    2. You will love chrome cast! Mine arrived yesterday and I got to play with it for a few minutes before going out.

MySurvey is insisting my email address isn't linked to any existing account. But it is! And they clearly know this as the inbox is full of their spam! So I can't get into my account to get the £3 that's sat there. And now OnePoll has forgotten my password and I don't know where I wrote it down...

£10 cheque from a relative to add today.

I've just caught up with the thread - Emma I love your ebay room! I'm just thinking of turning my spare bedroom into an office and you've inspired me!

Specialbrew thankyou for your ebay tips - very helpful!

I rang ebay customer support last sunday and spent ages with the advisor (in fact two) explaining that I'm concerned that I no longer get any selling alerts or any invitations to free listing weekends. I told them I have 100% positive feedback and have been a member for almost ten years - I was thanked sincerely for this but the advisor said that ebay are looking to reward NEW customers more than long standing ones!!!!!!! (which is the same for most companies I guess).

I am still awaiting a promised call back ,,,,,,, I an going to ring them again as the advisor admitted they have received a lot of complaints about this !!! I don't know if the advisor was meant to tell me all this!
