I am a high spec pc i7 @ 4.3ghz 16Gb ram top of range Nvidia card overclocked and Plusnet fibre get over 62Mbps and yet I cant get super HD on Netflix.
I used online chat with them tonight here is why. They claim I get still get HD suppose to be slightly lower quality but turning the HD icon on/off shows no difference at all, at least not for me
The reason that you are not getting super hd on your computer is because computers do not have a video card that can support this feature. Only some selected devices such as HDTV can support super HD. In this case all computers are not able to stream super hd.

Here is a work around to get HD on a pc. Load of bull what Netflix saying about it doesn't support super hd or hd on pc
It doesn't work on everything as they dont have a huge amount of HD on netflix from small sample I tried. It does work on BBC Africa for example
Press togther when video is playing Ctrl+shift+alt+S brings up stream manager you dont need to press option key as said in this video

It certainty better than SD. I rarely watch any SD unless its old comedies. Its a shame Netflix seem to want to exclude PC users using super HD and there excuse is rather stupid given a modern pc is far more powerful than many other video devices. I understand that broadband speeds can be a issue but not on fibre as a rule. Once trial is over I pass on Netflix, might trial the Amazon streaming service.0
