  • I get Advantage as well and it works fine, I wouldnt get Frontline ever again after we got infested with fleas last September. I wouldnt wish that experience on my worst enemy it was that bad.

I've only ever used flea collars for 20 odd yrs, never had a flea on either cats or dogs

As the vet- ours switch their recommendation as they get good/bad feedback. Currently they are suggesting stronghold. They have changed to millebax (?) rather than drontal for worming- much easier as the tablets are tiny.

Long time frontline user here (on the cats, not on myself) and they suddenly got fleas. Tried advantage, and now onto Stronghold as of yesterday. Frontline is definitely not as effective as it once was…our 2 local vets no longer sell it.

I use Advantage for ours. We had an infestation last year and it got rid of them along with Indorex for the house. I now keep a tin of indorex just in case.

oh yes, Indorex is marvellous stuff to protect the house (which is of course where the vaste majority of the fleas/eggs/larvae are, not on the cat )
