    Hiya,
I'm really sorry for saying this snackatack, and I absolutely expect to get shot down for it, but that seems like a way over the top reaction to a freebies website. There are some big things going on in the world, and if you're this upset by a fun way of spending a few minutes a day, then your stress levels are going up for no good reason. I think the reply that you got was very composed, and gratious (sp?), shows Rachel in a very good light. Well done her. Just my own opinion, but I don't think it's worth getting that worked up over. You could just not click on the site? It is a shame it's not working as it should, but it's not really affecting anybody to that extent.

Not shooting you down I promise, but I think a lot of what snackatack mentioned was very valid. Okay, so Pigsback is a Freebie site to us, but I doubt if the companies that pay Pigsback to advertise on their site see it that way. My use of Pigsback has most definitely dropped a lot since the new launch, which means that the sponsors of Pigsback are not getting their money's worth.

Pigsback really should have spent more time ironing out glitches before the relaunch. A few glitches are understandable, but the number of the glitches on the new Pigsback site have required industrial strength steam cleaning! :D

hi all i have read the odd post or two not many, ive been using pigsback a longtime and to be honest i think its gone right down the drain,it used to not take long to gather points for vouchers, now it seems to take forever, the points seem to have been cut back dramatically, and the new look in all honesty is rubbish, you used to be able to collate quite a few vouchers a year i doubt that now somehow, pigsback will get paid a percentage off company for us using there sites ect so they are making out of it,i rarely go on pigsback now,im claming my last voucher soon and then am stopping using the site, lets face it most of us dont go on there for fun we go on to collect points for vouchers,
    It`s getting to the point

    Hi

I don't agree with you at all and I think snackatack was right to send an email of complaint regarding the new site. Rachel's reply was exactly what snackatack was complaining about with 'fobbing off' espcially the bit where she says for the 'majority the site is working fine'. I don't think so.

Pigsback is not just about clickthroughs, many of us have used it for shopping and also for it's competitions. My own personal gripe with Pigsback is not even related to the new site in particular but to one of their competitions that I supposedly won. During Easter Pigsback ran an 'Easter Zone'. I won a competition with a company called 'Chocolate Ecstasy Tours', a 4 hour tour of london, with chocolate and a googie bag. Have I actually been on this tour? of course not. Many emails back and forth and still nothing. I was given a date which was cancelled and since then I have had very polite but completely useless replies from Pigsback about what has happened to this prize. Is it even legal for them to advertise prizes which they will not actually provide?

To be honest I've completely given up over this issue and I will no longer be doing any shopping through the Pigsback site. Quidco here I come.

If I were you Katra this is actually a point that I would follow up. And then as you say, go elsewhere, Quidco (freefivers is another good one for daily clicks BTW). Snackatacks complaint to them was that the site doesn't work as it should, and all I said was, it's not worth getting so upset about! And it isn't! Your issue with pigsback is different, and I sympathise completely. Best of luck getting it sorted out.

Thanks for the PMs from a few of you - I completely understand why now! God forbid I'd have the cheek to have an opinion that's different, let alone the gumption to express it on a public forum! Bring back funnyguy, take the heat off me :rotfl: .
I think you're all wonderful on here, but didn't realise how 'clicky' things get, very realistic isn't it.

Totally agree - I'm not going to bother from now on - shame because it was such a great site. :(

I'm starting to feel the same way about Pigsback - not much seems to be happening with my recent transactions  I recently booked through Pigsback/Hotelclub and not got a reply yet - they say it can take up to a month. So yesterday a booked another hotel (work away from home a fair bit!) through Quidco, and today it has showed up as tracked on my earnings !

Also went through Quidco for the lottery, this showed up a day later, same with a few HMV orders and my earnings is slowly picking up - just in time for Christmas

I am fairly new to both sites (about a month) and it looks like Quidco seem to be more professional and it looks like they know what they're doing

I have never experienced the old Pigsback site, but have come across several errors with the new! And the fobbing off seems to be quite common

I think Quidco may be the way to go. ;)
