Water, water, and more water.

I am also growing spuds in bags, but not purpose made growing bags. I am using old 25kilo plastic bags that my smokeless fuel comes in. I have them stuffed into concrete tubs that I made many years ago. This is my first year of trying this out, and I have quite a few bags on the go, with several different types of spud in them. I also have spuds on the go in plastic tubs.
I am also using the bags to try to grow parsnips in, I want to see if I can grow serveral parsnips in each bag. This is because I have used up all the room I had im my garden for growing the parsnips in plastic bottles - I have over 100 on the go.
I don't think water, water and more water will apply so much for me, because I think drainage might be a problem in my case. But I'll let you know how I get on.0
