You might want to post here what info they exactly ask for. Note though that you do not have to send the bank or their solicitors anything else than the list of charges and interest again - everything else is is deemed intimidatory and only for the judge to ask.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Thanks- Ahhh so I dont have to reply to all the clauses they are asking me for? Have I understood that right? Do I send them the list of original cahrges and dates and interest as per the first letter I sent to the bank then? Apologies If Im coming across thick... just find all this legal stuff so hard to get my head around!
Its a really long document- which is entitled reguest for further information and clarification. I can scan it in and email it direct if it would help for someone to see it to advise me better!?
Thanks for your replys!!

i will be keeping an interested eye on this post as i myself am having major trouble with natwest. I originally requested my statement via phone after being told by staff that it would be quicker and less of a hasstle to do this than send one of king martins letters... how i wish i had followed martins advice more and sent his letter as 6 months on i am still waiting for statements off natwest after numerous false promises off them being sent. Too add insult to injury i also had to endure the manager of my local branch insinuating that i am a liar for sayin i had been waiting since january and also he insinuated that i shouldnt even have the right to a bank account in his veiw as i am unemployed ( i am actually a parent to 3 young children ).
After reading this post i am now terrified that they are going to drag me throught the court also :mad: .
Anyway i have finally took the step of involving the financial ombudsman yesterday so fingers crossed that will make them jump a little
Good luck Jodi5980 -
Hi jenn,
I have just completed a claim with the Halifa for just short of £1000. They just completely ignored me basically- on filing with the small claims court they ignored them too so I got my money back by default. im gutted Natwest have filed a defence! Il keep u posted as to how I get on!

Jodi, does the letter mention the word "CPR 18" by any chance? If so, you can ignore it. If they ask for a list of charges and interest again, provide it, but nothing else. Best check out this thread, as you still haven't said what info the solicitors exactly ask of you:

It contains some nice response letters to the solicitors.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Only send it to me if that link doesn't help you at all! Jump to post 35 on page 2, it tells you what to write back to the solicitors.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I need advice.....I am reclaiming bank charges for my dad, but unfortunately I have only stepped in to help at a rather late stage and it appears that he has miscalculated the charges and applied the interest incorrectly, so the figure that I have now come up with is quite a bit less than he originally claimed for. Natwest has issued a CPR18 and a defence, but I don't know
how to go about altering the amount claimed for. Any ideas? Also when I send my response to the CPR18 do I just send it to the court or to Cobbetts or both? If I choose to issue my own CPR18 do I only send it to Cobbetts or to the courts aswell?

:heart2::heart2:On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur :heart2::heart2:we're debt freeeeeeeeeeeee....FREEEEDOM!!! :j:T0 -
Oh and another thing.....do my dad never sent a fully detailed list of charges in any of the correspondance, do I need to send this with my altered claim and my response to CPR18?:heart2::heart2:On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur :heart2::heart2:we're debt freeeeeeeeeeeee....FREEEEDOM!!! :j:T0

You can amend a court claim with MCOL for £35.
If the solicitors send you a letter, why send the answer to the court as well?
I have no idea what you mean about "issuing your own CPR18".Reclaimed thanks to this site:
