I recently received my first neutral feedback for a 'lost' parcel (apologies for the ranty post). The buyer opened a case, I immediately refunded the buyer.
The buyer has now emailed to let me know that the parcel has been delivered. He offered to pay through PayPal, I sent a payment request but am yet to receive any payment. I assume that there is nothing that I can do through eBay to get my money back?

I sold another item on Saturday morning and immediately sent an invoice to the seller. Due to the lack of payment/communication I sent another invoice yesterday.
How long do you give buyers to pay?
I was going to send a message to the buyer tomorrow to see if they still actually want the item giving them until Monday (well over a week) to pay. I guess the next stage is to report the buyer?
I assume then that I can look forward to receiving neutral/negative feedback from the second buyer if I do report him for non-payment.

Re the first buyer. As he has offered to pay it would seem unlikely he wouldn't, perhaps he hasn't seen your invoice, or it went to the wrong email or he's away?
I would be email/messaging him thanking him and letting him know I had sent payment link via....xyz.
For your second. NPB (non paying bidder) cases are a matter of opinion. You can open them after day 2 and close them 4 days later (to the second). If you close it without payment the buyer is unable to leave feedback. IMO it is better to be quick with these than tardy.
I am a business seller and wait for no-one. But on my personal account I am more lenient.0 -
I'd say the first buyer will pay at some point, as he's cooperated fully with you.
The second, I'd raise an NPB, then close if necessary on receipt of payment.

Thanks for the advice. I've emailed the first buyer to let him know that I've sent a payment request through PayPal.
I've sent the second buyer a polite email chasing payment, checking that he still !ctually wants the item. He now has until Saturday to pay. If he doesn't I'll open a NPB case.Attempting to make £2021 in 20210 -
