Outside Aerial

I'm just having quotes for a new aerial to be fitted and 6 rooms to have a point. I'm told it's better to have an amplifier fitted by the aerial on the roof and this connects to electricity that must be on all the time. Others say it's a high signal aerial and a splitter would be okay.
Thoughts please.

Is it for a B&B or old-folks home?
Anyhow, for 6-way distribution I'd be looking at installing a loftbox, mast head amps and passive splitter aren't designed for 6-way.

Yes 4 beds and 2 downstairs rooms.
That looks good. I'll have a look.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Yes a loft box is what I fitted in my home. It has FM, DAB, RF TV and twin Satellite points and the FM/DAB/TV get fed around the house (when I finish it, I have decorating to do and it gets done with each room). They cost about £50 but should have an electrician to wire them into the loft space however I DIY'd first from a light and then from my UPS.0
