it was actually listed as the actual dress size e.g. 16 when in fact it measures for a 12.
But what does the label say? There is no 'standard sizing' so something cannot 'measure' as a 12.
I knew it wasn't the right size before I even tried it on my husband

Is that not a bid odd? :D
it was that obvious that it couldn't possibly be the size on the label.
So the label says 16 then?
It's also listed as "used" which is fine I knew I was bidding on a used top and it is in good condition,

    I'm lost at his comment.
......who had several other items for sale all listed as the same labelled size

Which have nothing to do with the ACTUAL item you bid on.
I think I will just not bother leaving any feedback and send her a message suggesting she check the sizes of future listings.
Perhaps you should be checking sizes?

And you sound like a seller whose sales technique is very shoddy and half hearted, hopefully we won't ever trade on ebay

lol, based on me questioning the scores you would leave you think i'm "shoddy and half-hearted" Well I only do ebay part time (I have a normal job) but there is nothing half-hearted about what I do on there.

lets see if Ebay and my customers agree!

Ebay, top rated seller and premium badge. Projected to continue to be top-rated under the new system.

Feedback 100% positive over 500+ transactions, no neutrals or negatives.

    Stars 4.96, 4.99,4.95,5.0

looks pretty good to me and my customers clearly agree and keep coming back!

However do please let me know your ebay id by private message so you can go on my blocked bidders list so we never need to trade.

ebay it yourself, with the full measurements.

Postage: charged £3.20 postage, actual postage was £2.80 then there will probably be some costs of packing. and you think thats a 3!!!!

You forgot Ebay and Paypal's cut.

Postage charged £3.20. Ebays & paypals cut 45p - total to seller £2.75 - so sellers loses money on postage even before packaging etc.

can I have your ebay id for my blocked bidders list please, you are incredibly hard.

Poor comms??, sounds like a private seller, they where not at home between when the question was asked and the ending of the item but we dont know how far in advance the question was asked. They at least replied

3 for description is harsh as well, clothing is a bit of a minefield but if someone lists what it is according to the manufacturers label then thats hardly the sellers fault if its not that! Sizes differ from manufacturer to manufacturer and country to country!

You sound like a buyer who would be nothing but trouble!

I want her ebay ID too. Serial negger. Hopefully she is appearing on so many BBL that suddenly her pool of sellers will dry up.

But it's not so easy to open new paypal accounts, the email addresses of which are also added to my BBL.

One day, you will neg the wrong seller. If you cause serious damage to someones livelihood, you have already given them your address and I would buy a ticket to watch them turn up on your door to teach you the error of your ways.

Edit for clarity - Mandy44 deleted a post referring to just setting up new ebay accounts when she has appeared on so many BBL that she can't buy anything.
