Lloyds Vantage benefits finally ends....
Comments

I received letter yesterday informing me about the change in Vantage account.
I was a bit surprised and disappointed that they did not suggest I switched to the new account - not a mention of it:( Are they trying to keep number low on this?Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
How often have you called upon these benefits or is it just peace of mind?
If I didn't have a Vantage account I would have to buy my own travel insurance when I go abroad (once or twice a year). I have had to use it a couple of times in the past and wouldn't travel without it. I would also have to buy my own roadside assistance. I used that once last year and wouldn't drive a car without it. I wouldn't bother buying my own mobile phone insurance though, I guess it's a nice perk to have in any case.
At some point (preferably before July) I will have to do a cost analysis to see if it would be cheaper to buy these things separately, taking in to account the fees I pay for my Vantage account and the lost interest for not having it in a higher earning account.0 -
I got my letter yesterday. I will close the 3 a/cs in July & open a Nisa with the 15K.
Will look around for a Nisa nearer the time.0 -
