I know how long I have had the policy as the renewal letter kindly advises that but how on earth when I use one of the templates to make the claim and edit it can I find out the amount of cover they said it would provide as I haven't kept the original document from many, many years ago if indeed there was one.
I seem to recall I took it out in the late 1990s originally when I rang HSBC to activate a card and have renewed it every year since.
What have other people written on the claim? Any advice gratefully appreciated.

I copied the statements they made in relation to why they thought I had been mis sold in their letter to me onto the claim form. I received £45 which is correct as I only had this cover for one year.0
