    Afternoon :)

Hubby's car cost us a further £260 quid yesterday  if this carries on I shall have to sell one of the children to keep paying for stuff!!! Fortunately we have some of his redundancy money left over BUT it's not lasting very long at this rate
Anyway sun is out here and it's fairly warm. Have stripped beds and remade, got first load in as I type. Just scoffed lunch, now about to start sewing some simple skirts for DD. Need to build up my confidence with sewing and I am a bit nervous :o:o:o

Not sure about dinner haven't thought that far ahead :o will check on planner later.
    Right better crack on :)

Hugs and spoons all round x

Butterfly hope all goes well with your op xx

Hugs for Molly, Jackie and LW x

Judi glad you're feeling more like yourself x

Nmlc hope you can get things sorted so you can sleep better x

Hi chums I am getting better by the day although fed-up with inactivity and non-driving .But I have been inundated with offers of help bless them all.Even my gardener phoned me at 12 to say he was at my house, when I explained I would be on my way but walking and it would take about 15 minutes(can't gallop much at the moment ) bless him he said stay put and I'll pick you up.Now that is what I call customer service :):) and on top of that I was talking to my young neighbour next door who had popped her head over the fence to ask how I was and she said she was after some old tyres to grow some spuds in(her garden is a bit stuck for space with two toddlers and toys etc) Mick the gardener overheard and said no problem I have a pal who has a garage I'll drop some of his old ones off for you(his pal has to pay to get them taken away !!!) I am a great believer in the inate kindness of people and for all the bad stuff we hear about there is far more good folk around than bad.So 10/10 for my lovely gardener and to my nice little young neighbour who is making me a cuppa and then said she will drop me back at my DDs to save me walking.Random acts of kindness all around :):):):)
Hope everyone is OK and I am hopefully trying to get back to my own house this weekend.
Cheers everyone and thanks for all of your kind thoughts Must fly my neighboursdcuppa is ready for me
    Cheers JackieO xxx

    Afternoon All

:hello: Welcome newbies, unlurkers, old faces.

Back home, for 10 days, so a quick turn around, think we have a Chinese Laundry going, two loads on the line and a third already in. Still a light load left, and caravan towels, still need to strip both the caravan and our bed, let alone giving Skye's Blankets and towels a wash while it is nice. Weather much better than expected, but not complaining :)

DS & DIL set off back today from Belize, first to Miami but no stop over just a couple of hours hanging around then back to London. We will see them next weekend when we pass through, so looking forward to hearing all about it. I know they will want to see their new DNeice, but have a feeling they may be slightly jet lagged.

B-today was back to a Slimf@ast shake, but cheese and biscuits for lunch, as 1 have no bread, and 2 need to use some cheese up. Will put a loaf on later. Will raid the freezer for tea, have got some sausages out for tomorrow, but think it may be Scampi and Oven Chips tonight.

Jackie-0 lovely acts fo kindness, but bet you offer them kindness too, as what goes around comes around.

((hugs)), Spoons, all round, especially Molly, LW & HH, and anyone else who'd like one. Take care everyone. DG

    Evening all,

Another fine day.......was registering 19c in car at one stage.

Did some shopping in Lidl on way home from physio this morning, OH came with me and we had lunch....arrived home to find that one of the dogs had demolished one of the new bamboo needles I got in a knitting magazine last week.....they were nice short needles and most of my needles are long......felt like murdering both of them!

Physio reckons that my left hip is banjaxed and that I will need to have something done, but she has given me exercises in the hope that pain will ease....hope they work, am going back swimming too ....

JackieO as someone else said Im sure that you are getting back what you have given many times to others, but it is gratifying to realise how kind people can be, glad that you are recovering well, take care.

Molly and LW, hope that things are going well for both.

OH hasnt yet made the promised rhubarb tart...will try to move that project on tomorrow.

    Stay well and safe everybody
