Is anyone good at dream interpretation? (Had a disturbing dream/nightmare)

I have just woken up from the first nightmare I've had in a while. I don't usually remember what happens in dreams but this one was really clear. A lot of things happened and it left me feeling weirdly shaken up.
The first thing I remember is being in a hotel with a lot of random people including my grandma, I remember her doing something she shouldn't and saying as long as people don't know it can't hurt them. I can't remember what she did though but I think it was really bad.
I then remember being in a local charity shop. There were 2 other people a girl and a guy. I found an old burnt guitar and he started playing for me and said he'd buy it for me but I was worried that it could be hazardous because it was all burnt but he kept insisting it was fine.
When we paid for the guitar the guy was arguing with the person behind the till because he thought he'd stolen his winning lottery ticket. I got involved and he ended up dead or something bad happened to him I can't remember which.
Rsndomly after that my dog killed a baby pig by biting its head off after playing with it and I was really traumatised and shocked. It disappeared down a hole. I then asked my mum to check in the freezer if it was in there and asked her to take it out because I couldn't bare looking at it.
I randomly bumped in to my cousin and his partner, things went badly as we didnt get on - he was really rude and I left, this is where 2 random people come into it but I don't recognise them and I can't remember them, I just remember quite a tall and fat guy being quite friendly like he was family but walking behind me with his hands all over me playfully.
We took a shortcut through the park. There was a freshly dug grave. Things didn't seem right so we turned back. 3 teenage lads 1 with a pram approached us being aggressive and kicked a ball at us, I remember slapping one and a big argument.
The next thing is the creepiest I have no idea what this was all about but I was walking home with someone, can't remember who and a shadowy figure which was hooded had a torch and was in some bushes. The thing had a human form and distorted face and I couldn't see it properly.
My friend told me that 'they were the good ones' and I braved my fears and approached. The face got more distorted and scary but then it went bright and the face turned into a friendly woman's. She made me feel really good about my self and showed me a ritual where you stroke your pet and say "please let me wake up with a new skill". While she was saying it her face slipped back to being distorted for a split second and I ran away.
I don't know why but this dream has really stuck in my mind and left me feeling shaky. It was scarier than it sounds. Does anyone have any idea on what it means? I probably sound a little insane but I'd appreciate any opinions!

Lol sounds to me like you've a lot on your mind. Dreams don't always have a meaning but at times when we are stressed or dealing with a lot, our minds are very over active when we sleep.
Don't over analyse it, some people who believe in the third eye etc will have you believe it means all sorts of crap but in reality a bad dream is just that. Have a warm drink, and try to relax.
Failing that stick a disney film on, as long as it's not bambi!0 -
Lay off the cheese before going to bed. Dream interpretation !!!!!!!0

One girl on the forum used to do fabulous dream interpretations but I've not seen her post for a while. I've done a course but hers were much better than mine.0

It's just a dream - neurons firing in a way that's different to when you're awake. I think monty-doggy sums it up well.
If dreams meant anything I'd be in real trouble by now haha!

You definitely don't want to get too hung up over dreams.
One relatively simple method is the following:
Freeze frame your dream at the point that most interests you.
In your freeze frame, select the three items that interest you the most from that freeze frame e.g. could be people or could be objects or features. For example hole, dog, baby pig.
For each of the three items of interest take each one in turn and imagine you are it. For example, I am my dog, I am friendly, enthusiastic, energetic, playful or I am the hole, I am dark, unknown, threatening. You can't be right or wrong - it's only your own beliefs that matter.
You then look at the three descriptions and ask yourself if you ever felt this way recently or strongly. That will hopefully then link you to the event that your dream is trying to make sense of.
It's not a perfect system and people are right about warning you not to take dreams too seriously.Met DH to be 2010
