smart parking ltd argos Bury

Bought a parking ticket from outside argos in Bury today from the nearest parking meter to my car only to return after shopping in argos and the market well in time before my ticket expired to find a parking ticket on from smart parking ltd I saw a parking inspector on the carpark near my car and said i dont understand why Ive got a ticket only to be told that i had bought a ticket from the Bury council meter and not the retail carpark owned by the shops and it was nothing to do with her!! there was no sign to say which meter to get your ticket from just to say get a ticket which what should i do about the ticket it just says parking fine notice on which I believe is just and invoice Ive never had a ticket before do I appeal or just ignore?

Easy as shelling peas, seeing off Smart. No need for new threads about them, it's easy to find out about them by a search with 'Smart' as the obvious keyword.

sorry your right it says parking charge notice Ive been on their web site to logged an appeal but it says its not got my number yet try again in 24 hours looking at other threads is this a ploy what do I do

Thanks coupon mad but I have looked at other posts and no one else seems to have bought a valid ticket from a parking meter but for the wrong car park I've also looked at the local papers and this has been reported before 2 years ago and is still going on

There is no 'but'! The story of what happened is irrelevant and you DO NOT appeal like that. See the NEWBIES thread, use the template.
