We appear to have a lot of people around here who can't park. A lot can't tell the difference between the road and pavement. And then there's the ones who park half a foot from near the kerb.

How did some people pass their driving tests?

Maybe its just me but I cant see how two cars could fit properly within the white lines?

I'm not the best parker admittedly...

It seems to have become worse since the advent of self parking cars which seems to predominantly be on the type of cars that attract yummy mummies.
I didn't know there were such things!!

I must be a peasant, I park my own car!

That space in the photo though, to stay within the white lines (and not get a parking ticket) means it's for two minis, or one regular sized car.... or a car/trailer or minibus. Not for two regular cars to be able to park and stay wholly within the white lines.

I can park anywhere .... what I do struggle to do though is get out of the car once I'm parked. many parking spaces are too narrow - and it only takes the next car to park a bit wonky or close to the white line and you can't get in. I always park on an end spot, so I know I can get back into my car when I return!

This afternoon, I went to Aldi and parked on one of the spaces to the perimeter of the car park. which is right angle to a row of car park spaces. Whilst inside Aldi, some idiot parked next to the row of cars - yet there were loads of car park spaces. I had to do a 7 point turn to reverse out of the space.

If I am going shopping, I drive into a car space as the boot is more accessible

Good Parker or not, doesn't mean you can squash two cars in that space.
