Evening folks,
I'm currently setting helped to set up a merchandising operation for my local football club. Whilst we are beavering away to get a facility converted and opened at the clubs ground itself, were obviously going to offer goods online also.
Now we're very much up to speed with actual shopping interface (currently playing with Zen Cart) however the payment solution has caused us to pause for thought.
From reading another thread on here it would appear that the advised route to take is to utlise Paypal or Nochex.
Are there any real disadvantages to utlising these handlers, over and above their % charging which Im aware of. It worries me that Paypal can seem 'external' to the main shopping site.... certainly for the inexperienced user anyway.
Have read of Internet Merchant Accounts but their set up prices etc are a bit worrying!
Would apprecaite some initial advice, that hopefully could be nailed down to something more specific over time.
Cheers

We have talked about this before: I know I mentioned Worldpay but it was possibly pricey - I don't 'worry' about using Worldpay on websites whereas I've never had a PayPal account and don't really want one.
Anyway, try a search of previous posts, you'll need to make it advanced and go back more than a month, but I hope you'll find what you want!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks for that - I did have a look at previous posts but obviously not hard enough
