Wing Parking and Debt Recovery Plus Ltd

Please help i just need some advice on the following, i received a Parking Charge Notice following advice from a neighbour and old information from old threads (i know... i hang my head in shame) I ignored it. I have now received two letters from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd the last saying 'Notice of intended Court Action - unpaid Parking Charge £150.00' if i dont pay up by the 28th of April, I plan to send a letter as stipulated in Coupon Mads thread 'newbies' is this the correct process? Can someone clarify which letter I send.

Thanks in advance for your help.

A search of this forum for WING is your first task to undertake.

Your second task is to read the NEWBIES sticky thread.
  • Thanks for the quick response. I have now sent a letter to DR+ denying any debt and a letter of appeal to WING.

if you have a letter befofe county court claim LBCCC, then this needs addressing, your letter of intended court action is not the same thing
The debt collection are blowing hotair, and have no standing
On ly the company who gave you the ticket can try bring it to court but follow the process , and when they send you a LBCCC then we can address it
    Tell the debt collectors to.......................
    wing presumably is the PO
If they refuse ask for a POPLA code and will send you template to get off

Try being the operative word. In most cases even the PPC has no standing to bring court action. :) (Doesn't usually stop them, but there have been a few cases recently where the PPC has lost on no standing).

Please don't lose any sleep over Debt Recovery Plus, they (and the next desk along Zenith Collections) are as phony as a Nigerian email scammer!

Please search the parking forum for 'recovery' as a keyword as we can't keep replying on Groundhog Day style 'help I have got DRP letters' threads. Do the search - PLEASE - and you'll know why we get so bored with this letter chain! It's why I stifle a yawn about DRP in the NEWBIES thread and beg people not to start yet more new threads about it...

...we know it's all new to you but please, just read other threads. It's all here already! This letter chain has been discussed to death for YEARS (no exaggeration, years).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
