Right now I'm really not sure how this works. I received a letter yesterday to say that my 0% balance transfer was to be extended to 15 months and I could make another balance transfer. Now i've already got a balance on this card but I am thinking of making a significant to me purchase of about £1800. Does this mean that I can pay for that on my MBNA card and balance transfer it to the Halifax card? The original balance and the new balance all staying at 0% until the individual periods end?

Both would be at 0% - the original balance until the end of that promo period, and the new balance for the 15 months.
