No spring lamb again

Don't know about spring lamb but I'm yet to find any supermarket or local butchers who sell British lamb. We are surrounded by fields of lamb locally but no one sells it, only stuff which has been shipped in from New Zealand.
Even the two nearest farmers markets don't sell it, in fact they don't sell any lamb just sausages, pork and some beef.
So what happens to all the lambs/sheep we see on British fields?0 -
