I always used to enjoy spring lamb at this time of year but local butchers and supermarkets don't stock it anymore. Anyone know why? Local butcher said it's too expensive as the French buy it all. Asked the butcher at Sainsbury's deli' and he looked confused and told me they stock the same lamb all year round! Please someone tell me where I can buy spring lamb

One of the local food producers that I follow on Twitter was advertising spring lamb the other day, so it is still available. Have you tried your local farmer's markets or BigBarn?0
