tax credits and dla highest rate?

Hi

My partner receives highest rate of care and highest rate mobility, I have never informed tax credits as I thought dla wasnt taken into account for tax credit claim. On doing a calculator it seems we would be entitled to more money because of this? can anyone advise?

Likely wouldn't backdate - it is up to you to claim for the disability element, there's plenty of info in the pack you are sent to claim initially.
