Hi
My partner receives highest rate of care and highest rate mobility, I have never informed tax credits as I thought dla wasnt taken into account for tax credit claim. On doing a calculator it seems we would be entitled to more money because of this? can anyone advise?

we only have my income which this year will be under 10,000. Also he has been on dla since last april when we started our joint claim would they backdate it for the disability element?

Likely wouldn't backdate - it is up to you to claim for the disability element, there's plenty of info in the pack you are sent to claim initially.0
