DRO Coming To An End

Hi
My DRO started on the 1st May 2013 and as such is due to end on the 1st May 2014 so just over a week away! Woo hoo
My plan from the 1st May is to check my credit report and request that anything showing default is changed to Satisfied/Settled. However, I've noticed the letter to do this on the sticky mentions sending evidence to prove the DRO has come to an end. As no official notification will be sent to show the DRO has ended, what is the best way to evidence this?
I'm also due to set up a few E-Savings accounts attached to my bills account for things such as Birthdays/Christmas, Holidays, Summer Holiday Childcare and Annual Expenses such as my car insurance.
I'm going to set up a completely different savings account for long term savings which can't easily be accessed if I have a weak moment. I may not be able to put in much, perhaps £30 per month to start with but since I have absolutely no savings whatsoever it's better than nothing?
Is there anything else that I should be doing?
Many thanks

If proof is required then you can print off your entry on:
http://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/
Highlight the part that says:Moratorium Period ended on dd/mm/yyy See FootNote
and the corresponding footnote that explains.Footnote The debtor’s Moratorium Period End Date is in accordance with Section 251H of The Insolvency Act 1986. As of this date the debtor will be discharged from the qualifying debts.
That confirms that the debts covered by the DRO are discharged and so must be marked as settled from that date.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Is that right that it's only 1 year? I was told it lasted and showed on a credit report for 6 years afterwards- mine wont end until August next year as I submitted it in 2009. I have also applied for credit (I was very sure I could pay it off, infact I had the money but the credit came with a discount) but was declined.
I was just wondering how your credit check went?0 -
The DRO itself lasts for 1 year, but is recorded on your credit file as having happened for 6.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I would just like to add that for your long term savings, have you considered a credit union?0
