Noddle Credit Rating

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to discuss or ask. If not, please guide where to go.
I registered with Noddle in March 2014. I checked the Credit Rating given by Noddle which was 3 out of 5.
After a month, I received an email suggesting a new report is ready for me. When I checked it, the rating gone down to 2 out of 5.
Nothing has changed since the last report but the rating is down. I am not able to find any reason for that.
The following things happened during the last 30+ days:
1. I found an error on Barclay's Credit Card report where due to a system error my monthly payments was not accepted and got late by few days. I called them asked to rectify as it was not a customer fault and they promised not to reflect this on my credit file.
2. Moved some balance from one credit card to another to save some money utilising an offer from my card provider. Although the card was fully utilised in this offer (i.e. 100% balance was used, first time in life I have used a credit card to it's fullest).
There was not any other activity on any of my accounts.
Can anyone please advise, looking at the activities, why my rating went down?
Many thanks for reading this and for your guidance.
Regards

The agency's "rating" is their own subjective view of what the events in your report mean, to them. Lenders don't get to see this number, so you should not worry about what drives it.
What's important is the events recorded in your file, not the "score" that they derive from them.0 -
...in other words, the Noddle score is totally meaningless.0

Thank you BillJones. That takes my worry away now.0 -

You will need to focus on this. What they promise you not necessary what they will deliver.
Have a look on your Barclays card report on Noddle. Is there any late payment mark ??. I have similar experience with you about six years ago also with Barclay card also just for few days and very tiny amount. Although they refunded me for late payment but they can not remove the late payment mark as they said it was already sent to CRAs. Needless to say it remains on my credit file for around six years.
If there is a mark then chase them to remove it as this is what they promised you.0 -

Have you raised a dispute with Noddle over this? It may be Barclays have honoured their word but it is not showing on Noddle's end for whatever reason. In my personal experience, I checked several times I was on the electoral roll but Noddle was not updating it until I 'raised a dispute', had to send them an email proof, and then within 28 days they replied and said it will be corrected by my next report.
Though what I'd like to know is would other CRAs show me as registered on the electoral roll or not, hmm...0 -

Thank you friend. Barclays corrected their mistake within 48 hours of my complaint and it's now reflecting on my Noddle file too but the rating score is actually down after this correction. That's raising concerns now0 -
I found that using a higher percentage of available balance on a credit card brought my score down a bit. Like someone said though, credit scores are a guide and that's all.
My noddle score is 1/5 yet experian is showing fair credit score @777. I had a default showing 3 years after it actually happened (error admitted by lender) so that will be removed in a week or so and am curious as to what noddle shows then.0
