Dla Tribunal

Won the day at dla tribunal today . HR Mobility and MR care. Read the paperwork they gave me and it states the DWP has a right to appeal the tribunals decision as well. Can anyone tell me if this happens in any cases because if they do this could be the longest appeal in history ( been 12 months so far). Also can my wife claim carers allowance if i do manage to hold on to my MR care. She has not worked for years and has been caring for me for the last couple of years . jim

It is rare for the DWP to appeal and they can only do it if there has been an error in the law which is unlikely. Subject to the other conditions of Carers Allowance your wife can claim it.
