Unable to search forums on tablet or phone

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab 3 and I am unable to use the search function on any of the forums. Every time I try, the search box pops up but when I tap on it to get the keyboard to come up so I can enter text, the search box disappears and it ends up searching in the browser address bar instead. The same thing happens on my phone. Sorry if this has been covered before but I can't search the forums to find out!

I have the same happen to me on my tablet and phone. What I do is when the search box pops up, tap on advanced search and do your search from there.
Hope that works.
