Tesco Clubcard Credit Card - Points

Hi, does anyone know if the points are awarded on transactions or monthly balance?

E.g. if I bought a £100 item on my credit card, but paid if off in full before the statement date, would I still receive points for it?

Yes, you'd get the points regardless.

Bear in mind if you spend £3.99 x 25 times (nearly £100), you'll get no points. It's on multiples of £4 per transaction, rounded down.

If you were spending £100 in one lump sum then you'd receive 25 points (25p.)

That's based on Tesco Credit Card's out of store spend (1 point per £4.)

If you bought said item in Tesco, for example, then you've also receive a further 100 points, taking that total to 125 (£1.25.)
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

also when fueling, you dont have to use their card to pay to get the higher points, just swipe your card as the clubcard
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Indeed, I started a thread on this some time ago, however I contacted them and they do credit the missing points automatically, just a bit later.

Interestingly, my Tesco Extra has recently had its pumps upgraded with colour LCD things and now the automatic 1 point/£1 has resumed as normal. Seems it was just a glitch!

Check your points go on though.

I had several days missing not long ago from CC transactions.

I got fed up with trying to get them put on and gave up in the end.

Clubcard were dealing with it originally but then they said I had to take it up with the CC dept.

I gave up at this point because it was not worth my while.
