Ghost walk in York?

Goping to York in a few weeks and staying in a marriott Hotel care of Mr T :D

While we are there I would really like to go on a night time ghost walk but having been to York, I know there are lots to choose from.

Can anyone reccomend one at all?

I'd second that - my kiwi friend came to stay last month and went on this - she loved it! Hope you enjoy York - it's a beautiful city and I love living here!

A group of colleagues at work went on the Golden Fleece ghost night and said it was fantastic. It's the oldest pub in York.

Well couldn't have got a better deal really at Marriot as it cost us zilch care of Mr Tesco :D

If I went again though I think I'd try and get in at the Hilton as its more central. Marriott was nice but a ten/fifteen minute bus journey to centre of York.

We crammed that much into our two days there so didn't do the ghostwalk but will deffo do one next time.

York is one of my fave places.

ive been on two ghost walks at york and both were very good and did different sites 1.)from York Minster and 2.) from The Kings Arms i'd recommend any of these they were really good fun! enjoy!
the Minster one was funny because at the start when we were waiting to go you could here some spooky sounding organ music coming from inside i dont know if someone was practising inside or if they always play a tape perhaps inside to get you into spooky mood!
