ParkingEye - CCG (Northampton (CCBC)) Help

Hi,
I've had parkingeye notices before and ignored them, I got one earlier this year and did the same and just seen that the rules have changed (My Bad). I've now got a CCJ from (Northampton (CCBC)) for claimant ParkingEye LTD.
I've read the forum but can't find any advice for this stage, am I too late and do I have to pay it as its now in the county court?
Any advice would be great.

read the 2 sticky threads at the top of the forum
plenty of other threads on here about ongoing court claims by parking eye too, so try the search function and find and read them
but start with those 2 sticky threads, also the parking prankster court guide to PE too
ps: the rules changed 18 months ago (pofa 2012)
no idea what a CCG is ? , unless you mean a CCJ ?0 -

Wow, how far did you read?
Try this:

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hmmmm...but it's not just about filling in a form and seeing what happens - the court don't reply to the acknowledgement. Nothing 'happens' until you submit a defence.
I sincerely HOPE you haven't filled in a short weak defence (or none yet!!) in a rush seeing as it's not even needed as part of the acknowledgement? You acknowledge the claim THEN you follow it with a well-researched (by you) defence; one that you personally understand. As the links tell you. One of which is a link to the Parking Prankster' guide to defending a small claim. Read it yet? Know how to defend? Have you read all the dozens of other recent Small Claim PE threads on this forum this week/month, have you seen the possible outcomes, how to win in court, how to try to steer it to POPLA instead, etc?
We can help, I can write you a defence but will not do so from scratch until I know a poster is ready to understand what to do when & the issues involved in their defence. You are the one who has to submit it and you are the one to write the letter to your County court once it is allocated locally, to push for POPLA. It's in your interests as well to read other threads, learn about the Cambridge test case this week, etc.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Can you clarify something here
Do you have a ccj or a claim from the northhampton bulk clearing centre0 -
Many newbies (incorrectly) equate one as the same as the other. You are right that they are not the same.
(A CCJ is what it says ... a County Court Judgement. Until a case has been to court there can be no judgement).0 -
I belive this is a claim against you from Parking Eye
You must answer and defend and ask for an extension.
You best route would be to ask the court fo tell PE to issue you a POPLA code so you can defend
Parking Eye will not let you go through their appeals process which is !!!!!!!! because it is too late
But you can contact them at their e-mail address and ask for a POPLA code in the process of ADR and give the date PE were told by the court to do this

What you must also do and it is worth spending time doing this is contact the retailer, where this pcn was issued and ask them to drop it
Court is time and energy

You have let this esculate to now a problem,
in your reply to the court:
The Defendant respectfully requests:
Further and in the alternative, I request an Order for the claim to be stayed pending the allowance of both parties to undertake ADR in the form of a POPLA appeal, similar to Court Orders in a number of this Claimant's cases now successfully resolved by POPLA, such as in the order made by District Judge Mayor, Croydon Court, 13/09/13 (Case no. 3JD00719, ParkingEye v Mr O), and by Deputy District Judge Bridger, Southampton Court, 21/01/2014 (Case no. 3JD05448, ParkingEye v Gilmartin). POPLA place no deadline on the case being referred to them and will allow a BPA member to issue a POPLA code at any stage. The British Parking Association, which is the Trade Body for this claimant, are on record as being particularly keen for the authorities to recognise POPLA as the bespoke ADR for this industry and actively encourage cases to be referred. In the interests of saving the court's time I agree to accept the findings of POPLA in my case even though in the normal course of events their decisions are not binding on a motorist.
Getting a POPLA code is your get out of jail card, getting the retailer to stop it also helps
You have a lot of work to do here.
Coupon mad has given you the pranksters link to defending, pay and read its an education.
here again: and remember time is against you check your dates and do what I have said

This is what you have, and you have to invest a lot of energy as you let it get this far unnecessarily
You really need to pull your finger out here because missing responce times and it will be a CCJ
Just read you replied to the claim you should contact the court again with the insert about the POPLA code that the courts can tell PE to issue to you this code0
