First Time Buyer - Looking for tips // London
uaesthetics
I am a first time buyer - want to put some money down on a property in the London region. I'm looking to find advice maybe from guys who have done the same, to learn from mistakes and what kind of things to look out for.
For example I am keeping my eye on bank repossessed properties - and was wondering if anybody had some tips as to what type of sites to look at or how to scout the market for the right deal for me with the finances I have at hand.

That there London is a mighty big place.
What is your budget? What part of London? What type of property? How many bedrooms? Are you going to live in it or rent it out? Do you need good schools, shops, or public transport?Been away for a while.0 -
Sorry for being vague
I'm open to the locations but keen on this side which is like Woolwich Arsenal, Green Street or Plumstead -
First time buy so looking for the cheaper side of properties - 1 bedroom or 2 bedoom max if lucky deal
Wanted to scout the bank repossesed deals and go in for them - for example recently my uncle purchased a 1 Bedroom Apartment for 130k right on Green Street - something like that would be ideal
It's to be rented out0
