Can you still claim income support even tho I own my own home. I don't claim housing benefits or reduced council tax. Thanks.

Owning the home you live in will not stop you claiming IS. On what grounds are you claiming?

In general, a home you own that you live in is not counted for any means tested benefits.

Perhaps she is not looking for work.

OP as long as you don't have savings over £16,000 including ISAs, shares etc then you can claim Income Support as you have a child under the age of 5.
