Beware £ discount not always applied

It would appear that online retailers are not honouring monetary discount offers e.g £15 off if you order over £75.

I ordered over £200, money taken from credit card at point of order. Used code to get £15 discount.

Returned goods but kept over £75 limit only to find that full value of each item returned was not credited leaving me with £2.97 total discount.

HOW UNFAIR IS THAT.?:shocked::shocked:

Return the rest of the stuff and re-order with the discount code if you're still within the returns period.

Was this M&S by any chance? They are guilty of this but if you contact their HO it usually gets sorted out.
