What to give an 8week old puppy as treats?

Hi Everyone We are due to bring home an 8 week old puppy tomorrow I've been reading up for weeks on training methods and housetraining tips etc but it occured to me today in the pet shop that all of the puppy treats in the pet shop said that the treats should only be given to puppies of 4months or more. Thanks everyone for all your replies - he's had chicken pieces, beef, kibble bits, dog chocolate drops all cut up into tiby tiny pieces, smaller than peas, as he's only tiny, so I've found plenty to give him.

I'm planning to give him some cheese later this week see if he likes that too and will maybe get some liver treats as they keep cropping up on doggy chat forums!
