Thanks everyone for all your replies - he's had chicken pieces, beef, kibble bits, dog chocolate drops all cut up into tiby tiny pieces, smaller than peas, as he's only tiny, so I've found plenty to give him.
I'm planning to give him some cheese later this week see if he likes that too and will maybe get some liver treats as they keep cropping up on doggy chat forums!
