Hi,thanks for your replies.its good to get an array of opinions.sometimes i cant trust my own! I dont live with parents.havent for 10 years.im 29,i rent and dont have a car anymore so thats why i can save.ive worked full time since i finished uni with a useless degree in psychology and now im stuck in dead end jobs and struggling to have career ambition0

If you're saving £400 a month then you can afford to take a pay cut if necessary. What are you saving for? If it's to buy your own house or flat then obviously you wouldn't be able to get as big a mortgage as you would on your current salary. Have you looked around to see what jobs are out there and what salary you could expect to achieve? Also, if there are any courses you could take to help improve your job prospects?
If you're working 4 days on and 4 days off then you're in a great position to be able to look for work as you'll struggle less to get time off for interviews than you would if you were working Monday to Friday 9-5.3 stone down, 3 more to go0
