Weird TV tuning problem

Hope this is in the correct place...

My mother has two TVs in her house. Both have Humax PVRs connected and are in adjoining rooms (i.e. have a shared wall).

I recently retuned both PVRs with strangely differing results. The main TV has got significantly fewer channels than the other one. I've now retuned again with the same results.

It matters because there has been a leaflet distributed throughout Glasgow warning about signal interference which breaks up the picture. Think it has to do with 4G though wouldn't swear to it!

If this happens on, say channel 1, the programme can be watched interference free on channel 867 which can be done on the small bedroom TV. For the life of me I can't understand why two tellies on the same communal arial are unable to receive the same channels.

Is there a reason for this? Can anything be done about it?
Bamboozled.

clear all the channels on the weakest pvr, plug it into the aerial point that produces the most channels, and retune

Thanks for that advice. Will try it though I am struggling to understand how the machine will then be able to find the channels once it's put back and connected to the TV in the main room.

It's possible that some idiot has "tapped" one of the wall plates to get a signal to the other. This could certainly cause the symptoms that you report. Disconnect the plates, take photos of the connections and upload them. Let us have a link to the photos.

Its where the aerial feed comes in - either as a cable all the way or a wall socket that the aerial feed plugs into..

Guess trying to determine if the 2 sets have there own feed from the Aerial or if one has 'daisy chained' from the other meaning the signal is degraded on the other feed..
