Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, please. I've just checked my credit file via Noddle in preparation for a mortgage application.

It shows a search undertaken by "Comparison Site (Hdd)
Moneysavingexpert" on 31/12/2013 as an 'administration review'.

I am a user of this site, but I have certainly not applied for anything via it.

Can anyone explain this, please? Should I be worried?

    I've got one of those - I presumed it was when I signed up to the Cheap Energy Club.

    That's what shows up when you use the pre-eligibility checkers for credit cards.

    No you shouldn't worry, as only you can see it. Lenders can't see those types of searches as it's not a credit search.

    Ah thanks peeps. I haven't signed up for the energy club but I did do the card eligibility checker at some point, so that must have been it. Phew!
