    Too true Boss, too true!

All of my information has now appeared on Experian... and it has actually boosted my score! I am now 966 out of 999 which has nudged me into the 'excellent' bracket.

And I was refused a mobile phone contract with a credit file like that. I guess the moral of this story.... make sure you are on the electoral roll!

As an aside - as you are planning to apply for a mortgage soon then it would be worth getting copies of your credit files from the other 2 credit reference agencies as well (and ensuring they have your correct current address). Give yourself a bit of time just in case there are any errors on them.

Just shows how the credit score means nothing. You had a high score but you were refused for a Vodafone contract. I have checked my credit report on Experian. I saw the score and it said my 'score' was fair, so no where near yours. I got accepted for a Vodafone contract a couple of days later.

Please don't pay attention to the score. Just pay attention to your credit files and make sure that everything is to up to date and correct. One report every year should be enough to keep track of everything.
