When it comes to renewal this year do I use my earnings from last year? or what I will earn from april 2014-2015?

Thanks

    Hi

they used my income for year 2013-2014 for last year claim when i updated in july because it dropped due to being on mat pay so my income will increase for 2014-2015? my income will increase by less by £5000? do i wait till my renewal comes through or call and update now?

    thanks

The renewal asks you for your actual income for 2013/14. If your 14/15 income will be different then this is a change or circumstances so you need to call to change that.

If on SMP you can deduct £100 per week of your SMP for a maximum of 39 weeks so for example, if on SMP for 39 weeks, deduct £3900 from your P60 income.

Whether they use 13/14 or 14/15 income to calculate your claim depends on the figures.

You can only deduct £100pw if your SMP was equal or greater than £100pw for the weeks that you got SMP between 06-04-2013 to 05-04-2014. If your income this year is going to be under £5000 than last years declared income, you can tell them when you do your renewal as last years income will still be used for the award year.

    Hi

I phoned today and gave them my estimated income for 14-15 which is going to be higher than last year as I was on mat pay? the girl on phone said everything was fine and i will get an one off payment. not sure why I would get a payment when my income has increased?
