Creative Stitches Magazine

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if you crafty people can help me?

I have asked in the cross stitch cafe, so now I am asking you.

Years ago (1997) I had a magazine - issue one, so it was only 99p and it was published by Marshall Cavendish. Now move on about 10 years and I have a house fire - lose alot of my stuff, including this magazine. In 2010 I got my stitching bug back. I had lost it for a wee bit. I got to thinking of that magazine in particular a sun pincushion design that was surrounded by signs of the zodiac. Hubby has a blanket with a similar design.

So I tried describing it to people as I couldn't remember name. A couple weeks back I was given a bag of a "assorted" stiching stuff - most not good but a couple of pieces of material I could use later and some threads. In among it was the magazine outer cover.

So I now have a name - creative stitches, issue 1.

I wonder if any of you have seen it in your travels and are willing to part with it - I will pay a reasonable cost if need do.

Here is pictures of the front and back - the pattern I would like is shown on the front and back but just the sun part and it is done in needlepoint.

Kind wishes to all

I've seen that design in a book on embroidery, I gave it away to a friend I think, I'll check, if I still have it you are welcome to it.
